Dear AD: More Port-A-Johns Please

Clemson has one of the best game day experiences in the entire country, but after Saturday night's game against Florida State one area clearly needs to be improved upon as soon as possible. More Port-A-Johns please!

More Please

Waits were out a hand on Saturday in a handful of the parking lots.

- Lot 1 had waits of up to 40 minutes.
- Lot 2 had similar lines as Lot 1.
- Lot 4 had lines of around 30 minutes.
- Lot 25 had extremely long waits
- Lot 6 had a line of around 25-30 minutes.
- Lot 8 lines were 25 minutes or more with Sirrine no longer open

Poeple having to wait in line for over twenty-five minutes is ridiculous especially considering how simple the issue can be fixed by adding a few more Port-A-Johns in some of the problem areas prior to the Virginia game. I know a lot of Clemson supporters and their bladders will thank you.

Reminder: Littlejohn and Doug Kingsmore Stadium's restrooms are open to the public as well and I don't think that message has filtered out to the Clemson faithful, so let this serve as another reminder.

  1. Lot 1 was crazy on Saturday.

There was a line of about 40 yards at one point in the late afternoon.

  2. Doug K facilities were opened and pretty empty for most of the day. I was in Lot 4 and teh extra 4 minute walk wasnt that bad. Didnt stand in a line all day

  3. I was in lot 2 and a few hundred feet to Littlejohn was better than waiting. When I parked in lot 1 last year we used the tennis center.

  4. Saturday was a joke!!! Bet if Terry Don, Barker, and their wives had to wait 40 minutes to relieve themselves something would change before the Virginia game...How hard is to get extra porta johns??

  5. There are other places to go other than the Port-A-Johns, but the AD doesn't really do a very good job of advertising those places.

I didn't know Littlejohn was open until after the Wake game, so I use that now if the lines are long in Lot 2.

Obviously a lot of other fans failed to get the message with the lines I saw this weekend in Lots 1 and 2.

  6. Just whip it out and piss in a bottle or on the ground. It's much better than standing in a line for 30 minutes, going back to your tailgate only to have to go again in 30 minutes, plus the 30 minute wait. It sucks and we shouldn't have to do that but I'm not waiting in a long line every time I have to piss.

  7. Thank goodness my parents park right next to the woods next to Shotgun Alley as you are heading to the WEZ. If it weren't for that, then i'm sure i'd be pissing in between cars.

  8. Wow...really covering the hard hitting football issues this week.

  9. When you have to ask yourself if you are going to need to pee in 20 minutes, or you have to carry an extra beer with you, then something is wrong.

  10. Winning sure is a nice deodorant, isn't it? You've gone from firing the AD, football coach, program seller and parking lot folks to providing more portable toilets. Can't wait to see you next piece of hard-hitting investigative journalism.

  11. Don't forget the 6-holer in Lot 2 that was half filled with piss because one of the urinals just opened straight to the floor...it was pretty awful.
